As we said yesterday, on November 19, 2013 at 10:00AM ART/ 8:00AM EST – the MSI Panel and The GovLab will launch a 3-stage distributed brainstorm initiative to help get the best ideas for evolving and adapting ICANN for the future.
When Stage 1: Idea Generation launches in 3 days, we’ll be asking you to share concrete suggestions for:
- New and innovative techniques and strategies ICANN could adopt – whether procedural or technological – to work more openly and effectively at each stage of decision-making;
- Tools, technologies and platforms that ICANN could use to enable broad, diverse and expert participation;
- Ideas for constitutional, structural and/or legal models ICANN should or should not adopt; and
- Other projects, initiatives, models and technologies being deployed around the world that the MSI Panel could study and learn from in developing specific proposals and experiments for ICANN.
You’ll be able to share these ideas via an online Idea Generation platform, Ideascale, which will be live starting November 19 at: thegovlab.ideascale.com (or at thegovlab.org/icann). So bookmark your browsers and stay tuned in the coming days!
