Connecting with Innovators at the Open Government Partnership Summit

A team from The GovLab was among the 1,500 participants in the Open Government Partnership (OGP) Global Summit in Mexico City from October 27th-29th. During the world gathering we launched the Network of Innovators (NoI), a skill sharing network enabling government and civic innovators to assess their problem-solving skills and get matched to those with complementary knowledge for mutual learning, as well as an open peer review initiative with regard to a collection of 19 case studies on the global impacts of open data developed in partnership with Omidyar Network. Members of the GovLab team also led talks, panels and workshops on smarter crowdsourcing, expert networking and assessing the impacts of open government and open data.
